Kirstin Punu, AICP (she/her), Community Engagement & Strategic Partnerships, Hawai’i at AES Clean Energy

Kirstin Punu leads AES Clean Energy’s (AES CE) community engagement & strategic partnership efforts across Hawaii. AES CE is proudly helping Hawai‘i achieve its 100 percent renewable energy future while partnering with the state and communities to accelerate access to safe, efficient and affordable energy. Ms. Punu graduated from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design with a Master in Urban Planning degree and a concentration in real estate finance and development. She also earned a Bachelor degree in Landscape Architecture from Cornell University. Kirstin was born on Oahu and grew up in Haiku, Maui and graduated from Maui High School. She is passionate about furthering a responsible and sustainable future for generations to come. She sits on The Trust for Public Land Hawaii Advisory Board, is a Women in Renewable Energy (WiRE) executive board member and received certification from the American Planning Association (APA) American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

Trayson Keli’i (he/him), Systems Development Engineer II at Amazon

Born and raised in Hawaii. Currently living in the Bay Area working as a Systems Engineer at Amazon. Graduated from Brigham Young University and currently pursuing a Master's in Computer Science from Arizona State University. First-generation college student.

Kylyn Fernandez (she/her), Web Developer at Nakupuna Companies

Kylyn Fernandez is currently employed as a Web Developer for Nakupuna Companies in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi. She is a 2015 graduate of Kamehameha Schools Maui. After graduation, she attended University of Hawaiʻi Maui College where she completed her Associate’s Degree. In 2019, she earned her Bachelor’s Degree with honors in Information Technology with an emphasis in Software Development from Dixie State University in St. George, UT. Kylyn has previously worked at Smart Software Solutions in Las Vegas, NV as a Software Developer. She is currently Salesforce Admin certified following graduating from the 12- Week Salesforce Certification Training program at Purple Maiʻa Foundation. When not in front of the computer, Kylyn enjoys cooking, traveling, hiking, and going to the beach with her friends and family.
