This form provides us with additional information about you, tells us a little about the additional support programs you are interested in, and how we can connect with you on social media.

  1. Review and answer all required questions
  2. Upload your 2023-2024 FAFSA Student Aid Report (SAR) or other proof you have submitted your 2023-2024 FAFSA
  3. Upload your most recent transcript
  4. Submit a Scholar Profile (100-200 words) and Scholar Photo

Verification of Submitting the 2023-2024 FAFSA Form

We require you to upload proof that you have submitted your 2023-2024 FAFSA Form. The simplest way to verify is by uploading your 2023-2024 FAFSA Student Aid Report (SAR), which is usually generated 3-7 days after you have submitted the FAFSA. If you have only recently submitted your 2023-2024 FAFSA Form and do not yet have access to the SAR, we will accept alternative proof (such as a copy of the confirmation email or confirmation page after submission), but it MUST clearly show it is YOUR submission of the 2023-2024 FAFSA.

We will not use information in the FAFSA to influence your scholarship award – we only need proof that you are eligible to apply for the FAFSA and have submitted the 2023-2024 FAFSA Form.

Upload Most Recent Transcript

We require you to upload your most recent transcript, which can be an unofficial transcript, an e-transcript from your school, or alternative grade report. We do not accept physical transcripts mailed to APIA Scholars. Depending on your current institution or current timeline, this could mean the Spring 2023 transcript or Fall 2022 transcript. Your transcript MUST include: your name, the name of the institution, your cumulative GPA at that institution, and a grade report for at minimum the most recent term you were taking courses

If you have been awarded an APIA Scholarship, your transcript must reflect the minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7 on a 4.0 scale. APIA/United Health Foundation scholarship recipients are required to show a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. AANAPISI Scholarship recipients do not have a GPA requirement.

In the event your school does not use a GPA system, or uses exclusively pass/fail, please still upload your transcript and email us at scholarships@apiascholars.org informing us what grading system your school uses.

Writing Your Scholar Profile

Please write a short (100 minimum to 200 words maximum) profile introducing yourself with whatever information you feel like sharing, plus answering this question: Tell us what you are looking forward to in this upcoming academic year?

This photo will NOT be shared publicly by APIA Scholars unless you consent to do so. It will only be used as a part of APIA Scholars’ reporting requirements with donors.
