Dr. Karen Su

University of Illinois at Chicago, Principal Investigator and Project Director of the UIC AANAPISI Initiative, Clinical Assistant Professor of Global Asian Studies

Karen Su currently teaches in the Global Asian Studies Program at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She serves as the Principal Investigator and Project Director of the UIC AANAPISI Initiative. The Initiative encompasses a total of four grants spanning from 2010-2026, providing $7.1 million to support the enhancement of programs and activities that improve the educational outcomes and experiences of Asian American, Pacific Islander, low-income, and English language learner undergraduate students at UIC. Karen Su also served as the founding directors of the Asian American Resource and Cultural Center (AARCC) at UIC as well as the Pan-Asian American Community House (PAACH) at the University of Pennsylvania.
